Early Childhood Educator Success Fund (ECESF)

The Early Childhood Educator Success Fund (ECESF) is a two-year fiscal incentive program that encourages EDvance alumni to be employed at a Title V center in San Francisco. This program provides up to $15,000 for a two-year commitment to teaching in a state-subsidized Title V early childhood program in San Francisco.

ECESF Stipend Eligibility Requirement:

To be eligible to receive an incentive from ECESF you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an EDvance alumni
  • EDvance alumni must work full-time at a Title V center in San Francisco, in direct contact with or direct ratio with children ages 0-5
  • EDvance alumni must agree to maintain full-time employment with a San Francisco Title V early childhood education center for a minimum of two years post-graduation and must be an employee in good standing
  • EDvance alumni must submit an agreement form annually and an employment verification form bi-annually to receive funding.
  • EDvance alumni must participate as a non-paid mentor teacher for EDvance students placed in their classroom or arrange EDvance engagement hours for 10-15 hours annually.

Honorarium Deadlines

First Year:

June 30: Submit Interest form and Agreement form to EDvance

September 15: Submit Application (Employment Verification) form to EDvance

Second Year:

TBD, will be contacted by the Program Coordinator

ECESF Honoraria Disclaimer

Eligible students can only apply and receive ECESF honoraria for two years. ECESF funding is limited, and honoraria will be awarded until all funding has been expended.
